## Modes
- Systems: The primary mode for architecture diagrams, semantic flows, cloud and vendor-neutral blocks, containment, regions, and animated walkthroughs.
- Schema: A database-design mode with tables, ordered composite constraints, catalog import, DBML, and SQL DDL export.
- Draw: A freeform sketch mode for shapes, text, lines, arrows, annotations, and bound connectors on the same canvas engine.

## Product boundaries
- Nodefall does not scan or introspect a user's live cloud account.
- Nodefall is not a deployment engine, governance system, or substitute for professional architecture review.
- Terraform/OpenTofu output is a TODO-marked scaffold that requires human review before use.
- AWS and Azure catalog vocabularies may be labeled beta in the product.
- Pro purchases use Stripe Managed Payments, with Link acting as merchant of record and managing subscription transactions.
